Until you

The sister.

How could it had been the sister and why did she do it?

You ask too many questions instead of trying to use that brain of your’s to figure it out. As much as I would love to sit here and answer them all, I have given you all that I know. There is no time for me to be explaining every detail when every second of this child’s life matters.

Well there could be many possibilities.

1. The sister was very close with her younger sister however, she did something to cause a strife between herself and her parents. Because of this strife she planned a kidnapping, except with most cases where the kidnapper is close to the abducted, she made a mistake in leaving a person item.

2. The sister is on some form of drugs and kidnapped her sister for ransom, but no ransom letter rules that out.

3. She’s simply bonkers and kidnapped her sister for no reason, but again the dress leaving rules that out.

I’d have to go with number one. Where would she take her sister though? Out of country or somewhere close to home for memories sake? Perhaps a playground or a place where they would always go together.

While I was on the way to their apartment, I asked them a couple of questions. Just like you, I was between either it being a relative or a close friend. Once we got into the car, I asked about the dog. At first, they were shocked because, one, they had forgotten to mention it, and, second, they were shocked that I knew. The dog hair on the seam of their pants definitely didn’t give it away.

How they can forget to tell us such important information is beyond me. Anyway, the dog made no noise when she was kidnapped. No difficulty getting in, no reaction from the dog, no struggle from the girl? That can only mean one thing.

You still surprise me at times. Amazing.

So who did it then? The babysitter?

Considering that they knew the size of clothes she wears, it has to be someone close to the family. Relative? Likely. A close friend? Possibly. There were no signs of anybody breaking in though. I examined the doors and the windows and saw no trace of a struggle to get in. A close friend is instantly ruled out. A relative that has a key to the apartment? Maybe but there is a problem. The closest set of relatives that they have is three towns away and those are her grandparents. I doubt they will be driving close to three hours just to kidnap their granddaughter. Also there is one thing. One very important thing that everybody has overlooked. The dog.

The dog? What dog and why the dog?
